As I have the person in question on both Tumblr and Twitter(where I usually leave my incoherent expressions of silly glee), I must either bother people on FB with it. Or leave it here where very few people will actually read it. And that is terribly perfect for me.
Because I am meeting an online friend today! And I am so very excited about this, so nervous, and what if they don't like me? What if they don't think I'm cool enough, what if my online persona is better than my real life persona?
I'm more excited about this than I have been about any dates I've been on.

I randomly came across your blog and your post made me laugh! I felt the exact same way when I met an online friend. When we met face to face it was as if we'd known each other for years!How did your meeting turn out?

We met for the London Slutwalk and it was fantastic. I thought she was wonderful and obviously because of that I was yapping too much, but she hasn't disowned me after that so I assume she doesn't consider me a complete freak.
